RECAP: Mark List turned in his second spectacular Freestyle performance of the day at Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil, behind the wheel of El Toro Loco, winning the final Saturday night competition to come from behind and edge Candice Jolly and Monster Mutt Dalmatian by one point for the Overall Event Championship. El Toro Loco won both Overall Event Championships but take nothing away from Monster Mutt Dalmatian, as Jolly too had an incredible day in front of the cheering Brazilian fans. Candice finished the day undefeated in racing, winning the racing brackets in both events. Armando Castro and Megalodon also found the winners circle Saturday night, claiming the win in the Skills Challenge. A change in plans added some drama to the long jump attempt as Max-D was undergoing mechanical repairs at the time for the jump. Tom Meents selected Steven Sims and Monster Energy to make the attempt in his place, and with Meents guiding Sims over the radio throughout the jump, Monster Energy cleared five Monster Jam trucks to the delight of the huge crowd in Sao Paulo.

RECAP: Monster Jam returned to Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a new venue for the sport and Mark List powered El Toro Loco to the Overall Event Championship in front of a huge, roaring crowd Saturday afternoon at Allianz Parque. The crowd was thrilled by great racing and spectacular moments throughout, beginning with Candice Jolly winning the racing bracket in Monster Mutt Dalmatian. The audience was also delighted by high flying freestyle motocross and Tom Meents successful long jump over six Monster Jam trucks in Max-D. After all that excitement it went up another level with a Monster Jam Freestyle competition that featured a bit of everything and a variety of crowd-pleasing Wow moments. Charlie Pauken capped the event with an amazing performance that ended with a spectacular front barrel roll, but that was only good enough for second place as a ragged edge, breathtaking freestyle run from El Toro Loco held onto the number one spot. That freestyle win, combined with his Skills Challenge triumph, allowed List and El Toro Loco to claim the top honors in the first of two events on this Saturday in Sao Paulo.
