Berto Treviño started his monster truck career as a USHRA Tech Official, and gradually worked his way up the ranks. 2024 is Berto’s first season full-time in Monster Jam, piloting Monster Mutt Rottweiler in Arena Championship Series West. Prior to his Monster Jam career, Berto was also a sponsored skateboarder!

about - What are some of your interests/hobbies/favorite pastimes?
I enjoy skateboarding, traveling, playing guitar, going to concerts and taking Lola to the dog park. - Who are your role models?

I like to walk the track and study the obstacles to find my favorite ramp. - What’s something a lot of people don’t know about you?
Growing up I was a sponsored skateboarder and later owned my own skate shop in downtown Corpus Christi, TX. - What is your favorite memory on or off the racetrack?
Attending my first ever Monster Jam stadium event in Houston, TX. The energy was electric as epic moments were created throughout the night! - What is your most prized possession?
A hand-painted skateboard deck by Jim McShea, who to this day still hand paints every Grave Digger body. He even included a tombstone with my former skate shop’s name on it!

- What is the best and worst thing about being on the road every weekend with Monster Jam?
Living the dream! I’ve dreamt of driving in Monster Jam my whole life, so I’m soaking in every second of it! Being away from home can be tough at times, but thankfully I have my Monster Jam family on the road! - While on tour, what is your favorite thing to do during your free time?
I’m always scouting out where the nearest skatepark is for a quick session. - How do you keep fit?
Staying active! We are always on the go! - What item(s) can you not live without while traveling on the road with Monster Jam?
My headphones – I need to start my days with music to pump me up! - What is your favorite city to travel to? Why?

I started out as a USHRA Tech Official and gradually worked my way to an opportunity to wrench on Monster Jam trucks. - What is your favorite part about competing in Monster Jam?
Talking to the fans after the event, I like to hear their favorite part! - What advice would you give to kids who want to become a Monster Jam driver?
Don’t be afraid to dream big – anything is possible if you’re willing to put the work in! - What is your greatest memory as a Monster Jam driver?
Being staged in the tunnel for opening intros at my debut event, and I’m reading the words “Bad to the Bone” on Grave Digger right in front me; that was the moment I realized I was seeing my dream become reality! - Who in Monster Jam do you look up to for inspiration?
The Monster Jam fans! Each and every Pit Party, I get to meet kids with the same passion and dreams I had and it reminds me of why
