Turn your Passion for Motorsports and Monster Jam into a career and stop by the University of Northwestern Ohio in April! Excitement buzzes through the University of Northwestern Ohio campus as it gears up to host its Spring Preview event in Lima, Ohio on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You and your family can visit the campus, check out the state-of-the-art facilities, meet the instructors, and learn more about how you could earn up to a $5,000 scholarship offered by UNOH!
With majors ranging from the adrenaline-fueled realm of High Performance Motorsports Technology to the dynamic landscape of Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Technology and from the intricacies of Human Resources Management to the allure of Motorsports Marketing and Business Administration, the event promises a plethora of opportunities, echoing the passions and aspirations that define the UNOH community.
For prospective students, the Spring Preview Days offer a chance to earn a slice of $120,000 in scholarships, reflecting UNOH’s commitment to nurturing talent across diverse disciplines. The scholarship test categories include automotive technology, diesel technology, agricultural equipment technology, robotics & automation technology, HVAC/R technology, information technology, medical technology, or general studies. Winners in each category of the scholarship test will walk away with $5,000 in scholarship money to go towards tuition at UNOH! Scholarships are also available for students whose scores put them second through fifth place.
The Spring Preview Days allow families and students to take self-guided tours of the 200-acre campus. Clubs and organizations will host demonstrations throughout the weekend. Students and parents can also join discussions on financial aid and housing and gain insights into scheduling and employment opportunities. Classroom displays and interactive sessions will offer a glimpse into the hands-on nature of a UNOH education.
