Weston Anderson celebration with Grave Digger

Weston Anderson Makes It Four-in-a-Row

Authored by Scott Jordan on April 18, 2025

After four events at the North Charleston Coliseum last weekend, two things are obvious. First, the entire city of North Charleston clearly falls within the “Grave Digger Country” mantra outlined by their raucous ovation every time the red headlights came roaring through the tunnel. Second, Weston Anderson is a champion once again.

The youngest son of ‘The Icon” Dennis Anderson continued to re-write the Monster Jam history books, winning his fourth consecutive series championship. No driver since Monster Jam’s inception has started his or her career by winning four straight championship series. That’s truly astonishing. Not even Tiger Woods, who is arguably the greatest golfer of all time, won four straight major championships as a rookie. No NASCAR driver has ever come close. Weston Anderson wins. And he does it often.

Anderson has now also accomplished another rare feat, winning the East, West, and Central titles on his way to perhaps the most dominant start to any driver’s career. Ever. With four series trophies on his mantle, Weston will now turn his attention to Salt Lake City to try and make history again, by winning the first World Finals Championship of his career.

Although his previous three appearances at the biggest event of the year have left him leaving empty handed, who can forget what happened the last time he drove Grave Digger in the World Finals host city when the season kicked off at the Delta Center? Four events. Four wins. Now Anderson will attempt to end the season in Salt Lake City the same way he started it, as a champion.
