The summer season kicked off Saturday with an epic Monster Jam event at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, that featured the competitive debut of Sparkle Smash and the return of Cynthia Gauthier.
Adam Anderson (Grave Digger) got things started with the Racing win. He defeated Tristan England (JCB DIGatron), Nick Pagliarulo (Kraken) and his brother Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger) en route to the final, where he took on Joe Foley (Axe).

Ryan Anderson came back in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge with one of his signature bicycle-into-sidewall saves that earned him the winning score of a 9.803.
