Monster Jam put on seven great events last weekend in Las Vegas, NV, and Raleigh, NC, with several drivers stepping up to take the fight to Grave Digger.

It looked like we may have been in for a Weston Anderson (Grave Digger) weekend sweep, as he won everything except Freestyle on Friday evening. But then Saturday kicked off with Mike Christensen (Vendetta) winning JCB Racing, followed by Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) winning the Great Clips Skills Challenge, and Kayla Blood (Sparkle Smash) sweeping Donuts and Freestyle, with the Overall Event Championship going to Armando by 1 point. Saturday evening’s event saw Devin Winfield (Earth Shaker) take home his first career Overall Event Championship! Mike Christensen won JCB Racing again, while Weston Anderson won the Great Clips Skills Challenge, Winfield won Donuts and Castro won Freestyle. The parity continued on Sunday with Tim Hall Jr. (Jurassic Attack) taking JCB Racing, Casto winning the Great Clips Skills competition, Christensen winning Donuts, and Blood taking the Freestyle and Overall.
A bittersweet moment ❤️

Raleigh, NC – PNC Arena
Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) swept all three Overall Event Championship victories over the weekend, but it wasn’t without a challenge. Saturday afternoon was the closest Menninga got to pulling off a clean sweep, but he was denied by Tony Ochs (ThunderROARus) in Freestyle. Saturday evening, it was the Donut competition that cost Menninga the clean sweep, with Chelsea VanCleave (El Toro Loco) claiming the Donuts win, while Menninga’s sixth place meant he tied with Ochs on points, but took the Overall due to his higher Freestyle score. This was a narrow win, however, as Ochs lost out by just 0.088 in Freestyle after an epic save! Menninga won JCB Racing on Sunday and Ochs won the Great Clips Skills Challenge, and Mikayla Tulachka (Megalodon) broke through for a Donuts win. However, in the end Menninga pulled off the Overall Event Championship sweep by winning Freestyle.
