Weekend Recap: Monster Jam Roars into Las Vegas and Savannah

Las Vegas: Monster Jam roared into the Thomas & Mack Center for four events last weekend in Las Vegas. While Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) took home all four Overall Event Championships, four other drivers shared competition wins throughout the weekend. Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) won freestyle and donuts on Friday, followed by freestyle Saturday afternoon and skills on Sunday, while Ashley Sanford (Megalodon) won donuts during both Saturday events. Mike Christensen (Vendetta) picked up both racing wins on Saturday, and Linsey Read (Scooby-Doo!) won freestyle on Friday.

Savannah: For the first time ever, Monster Jam invaded the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, GA for five events throughout the weekend. In racing, the 2023 Monster Jam World Finals Racing Champion – Tristan England (Earth Shaker) made it into the final in all five events, winning two of them while Zack Garner (Wild Side) took two and Jamey Garner (Over Bored) took the other. England and Zack Garner swept the Overall Event Championships between them – three for England and two for Garner. Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) almost spoiled their party Sunday afternoon, finishing just 1 point shy of England. Rookie driver Jamie Sullivan (Monster Mutt Dalmatian) also broke through to win freestyle Friday and Saturday evening.
