Last weekend saw five Monster Jam events taking place in Austin, TX, and Abu Dhabi, with El Toro Loco taking the overall in four of the five events.
Austin, TX – Moody Center
Eight Monster Jam athletes headed to the Lone Star State for two events last weekend, with five of them walking away with competition wins. Devin Winfield (Velociraptor) kicked things off on Saturday with the Racing win, with Dalton Widner (Jurassic Attack) winning 2-Wheel Skills. Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) won the Sky Wheelie competition and Tristan England (JCB DIGatron) won Freestyle, but it was Castro who took the overall. On Sunday, Berto Treviño (Monster Mutt Rottweiler) joined the winner’s list with his first career Racing win. Dalton Widner then won Skills and Freestyle en route to the Overall, while Castro swept the Sky Wheelie competition.

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Etihad Arena
Six Monster Jam athletes headed out to the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi for three events last weekend, with Blake Granger (El Toro Loco) sweeping all three Overall Event Championships. Granger won 7 of the 12 competitions throughout the weekend, despite Matt Cody (Grave Digger) kicking the weekend off with the Racing and Skills wins on Saturday, and finishing things off by winning Sunday’s Freestyle. Bari Musawwir (Black Panther) and Bernard Lyght (The Amazing Spider-Man) also picked up Racing and Sky Wheelie wins on Saturday evening respectively.
