Twin Action for the Twin Cities

Authored by Monster Jam on November 11, 2022

When Monster Jam® tickets went on sale for the return to Minnesota’s Twin Cities, fans responded with a record number of tickets being purchased for the Dec. 10 event at U.S. Bank Stadium. As a show of appreciation, Monster Jam officials have decided to add a second event, which will take place on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3:30 p.m.

The new date will feature a pre-show Pit Party that runs from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets for the new date will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. CDT.

The driver lineup has also been announced for both events. Heading the field will be 11-time World Champion Tom Meents in Max-DTM, a winner of five main events in the Metrodome, the former home of Minneapolis Monster Jam. Joining Meents will be Adam Anderson, now driving Grave Digger®, who has the notoriety of being the last champion crowned in the Metrodome. Three-time Minneapolis winner Linsey Weenk returns to attempt to chalk one up for Lucas Oil CrusaderTM. Local favorites include Minnesota drivers Becky McDonough (El Toro Loco®) of Brainerd and New Prague’s Jim Bendzick (Thunder 4 x 4). More driver announcements are expected over the next few weeks.

Over 300 dump trucks are expected to unload 7,500 tons of dirt onto the U.S. Bank stadium field for the first time in preparation for the competition. The event offers tickets starting at $15 and promises to serve up adrenaline-charged family entertainment. More details can be found here.
