During the More Monster Jam tour in 2015, Morgan Kane in Max-D® and Colton Eichelberger in Grave Digger® found themselves in a friendly rivalry while fighting for the number one spot. With Morgan being based out of Diggers Dungeon in North Carolina and Colton having Max-D driver, Tom Meents, as a step-father; fans may have been surprised to see them on these teams.
In 2016, a massive trade is being made between two fan favorites to bring each athlete “home.” Morgan Kane will be competing for the Grave Digger team on the More Monster Jam West Coast tour, taking the wheel behind the well-known truck. Colton will be driving for Team Max-D on the same tour (More Monster Jam West Coast). The two athletes will go head-to-head, battling for their spot at Monster Jam World Finals XVII.
In addition to this trade, the Grave Digger and Max-D teams will each be making an addition for the More Monster Jam East Coast tour. Grave Digger the Legend’s previous crew chief, Cole Venard, will be joining Team Grave Digger for all of the action. Tom Meents’ other step-son, Jared Eichelberger, will be joining Team Max-D in 2016.
