The Monster Jam® trucks have arrived in Sweden for a weekend appearance at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg. This year’s show marks the first time since 2012 that Monster Jam fans will watch top competitors battle it out.
Neil Elliott in Max-DTM has returned to defend his 2012 racing title, but he will once again face the best of the best in his quest.
Regardless of the outcome on the track, the real winners are the Gothenburg fans, who will get the chance to see many drivers they’ve never seen in Sweden. Dennis Anderson continues his worldwide tour and hopes to get Grave Digger® back in Victory Lane. Grave Digger has won a competition each visit to Gothenburg except in 2012. Up and coming talent like Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger®), Cynthia Gauthier (Monster Mutt® Dalmatian) and Brianna Mahon (Scooby-Doo!TM) will greet new fans at the event.
Visitors to the box office at Ullevi Stadium had the opportunity to see some of the Monster Jam trucks on display. The action starts Saturday, Sept. 17 with a two-hour Pit Party. On track action starts at 3 p.m.
