Monster Jam is Ready for its Osaka Debut

The final touches have been put into place for the first Monster Jam® ever held in Osaka, Japan. Crews have been building a special facility at Maishima Special Stage to welcome Japanese fans to the event.

Three afternoon performances are scheduled for May 3-5, each preceded by a festival which begins in the morning and continues after the show. Each Monster Jam performance will feature a team competition format. Monster Jam drivers will compete in Racing (one point), Wheelies (one point), Donuts (one point) and Freestyle (two points). A designated teammate will compete in ATV racing. Each ATV rider will compete in one heat race and a main event. The winner of each heat race gets one-half point while the winner of the main event gets one point for his or her team.

The eight drivers ready for action are Brianna Mahon (Team Scooby Doo!^TM), Bari Musawwir (Team Dragon^TM), Scott Buetow (Team Hot Wheels^TM Firestorm), Chad Tingler (Team Alien Invasion^TM), Candice Jolly (Team Monster Mutt® Dalmatian), Coty Saucier (Team Monster Energy®), Neil Elliott (Team Max-D^TM) and Jon Zimmer (Team Grave Digger®).
