Monster Jam is gearing up for the domestic debut of four Marvel Monster Jam trucks and the world will be able to watch live on our YouTube channel when the first live event kicks off on October 5 at 10 p.m. ET from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
If you have been watching the Stadium Championship Series broadcast season on MAVTV and YouTube, then when you tune in you will hear the familiar voices of Adam Enticknap and myself calling the action.
As a team, we got our first taste of live streaming a year ago in Nashville when we called qualifying, as well as bringing you the parade live from Nissan Stadium. This year we were able to double down and bring you another exciting qualifying event from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. Now we get to take you on a wild high-octane adventure for nearly three hours with 12 of the best drivers in the sport and, of course, the U.S. debuts of Thor ™, Iron Man ™, Black Panther ™, and The Amazing Spider-Man ™.
I asked Adam what he was most excited about when it comes to these three groundbreaking events, and he responded that he was “most excited for the Marvel partnership to hit the United States. I’ve seen some of the trucks and they’re amazing and I can’t wait for everybody in the U.S. to see them up close. I watch Marvel movies every day with my son and I’m sure he’s going to be ecstatic to see his dad calling the live steam for the Marvel line up.” As far as expectations go, Enticknap quickly followed with “I expect new energy to be in the air, not only from the fans but from the drivers as well. They will get a fresh start in a brand-new truck and, with there being so many popular characters in the Marvel Universe, it’s going to be very exciting to see how that influences fan scoring.” Finally, when asked if he’s ready to accept the challenge of calling a three-hour live event, Adam said he is more than ready and he enjoys the fact that we will have extra time to get more in depth about the drivers and the trucks. In closing he made a great point as he excitedly claimed, “How could you go wrong with three hours of Monster Jam and Marvel combined?”
His enthusiasm is unmatched, and you will witness that firsthand in less than two weeks. After a successful career as the “Seven-Deuce-Deuce” in Monster Energy Supercross, Enticknap has transitioned seamlessly into the broadcast booth and brings a wealth of knowledge as a former professional motorsports’ athlete.
Adam and I had the honor of bringing you Marvel’s return to Monster Jam from London one year ago and we are more than ready to continue the incredible 2024 season as we go live for this historic three-hour event on October 5. We invite you to join us, we hope you will. Get ready for the ride of your life as Marvel and Monster Jam carve out a Path of Destruction in Glendale with the 722 and I steering the wheel from the broadcast booth. See you on YouTube!
