Over the last few weeks, Monster Jam has crowned three series champions as Blake Granger, Weston Anderson, and Jon Zimmer Jr won their respective arena series, punching their tickets to World Finals XXIV in Salt Lake City, Utah July 4th weekend.
Now all eyes turn to Stadium Championship Series East and West as the final two series champions will be crowned on Saturday, and you will have a front row seat for the coronation ceremonies.
The West Series rolls into SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, where Monster Jam returns to the home of World Finals XXIII for an exciting conclusion to the season long battle between JCB DIGatron’s Tristan England and Son-Uva Digger’s Ryan Anderson. England currently has a 13-point lead as he is trying to deliver a series championship trophy to the JCB team in year 2, while he looks for the first stadium series win of his already decorated career. Meanwhile, after winning the West Series last year, Ryan Anderson is in an unfamiliar place as he attempts to challenge one more time for the series win, which would be the sixth of his career, tying Tyler Menninga for most all-time.
Speaking of Menninga, he will bring a one-point lead to Pittsburgh this weekend as Stadium Championship Series East roars into Acrisure Stadium. Zombie’s Bari Musawwir has had the best season of his career and, at one point, held a 26-point lead over Team Grave Digger, but now comes into the final event of the year trying to overcome the smallest last weekend championship deficit in Monster Jam history. Bari will need to advance in Round 1 of JCB Racing for a potential Round 2 matchup against Tyler which could very well decide this championship chase. Both drivers are chasing accolades as Bari is looking for the first series title of his career, while Tyler looks to win his seventh, which would be the most in Monster Jam history.
