Analyzing The Series Points Leaders

Authored by Scott Jordan on March 20, 2025

When you look around the league, you might notice that there are five different trucks leading each series signaling the parity and the talent throughout the sport, and today we are going to dive into the current series points leaders.

Stadium Championship Series East – Bari Musawwir/Zombie

Bari spent most of the season looking up at Tyler Menninga in the standings, but a huge wave of momentum caused a shift in the East and, after Grave Digger dealt with disaster in Jacksonville, Bari Musawwir finds himself in an unfamiliar position at this point in the season, as the Series Points Leader.  As of this writing, the lead is 12 points, which could be erased in two competitions. However, with the gremlins Grave Digger has dealt with still occasionally causing issues, Bari may finally find himself earning an automatic bid to World Finals in Salt Lake City and the championship that could very well come with it.

Stadium Championship Series West – Tristan England/JCB DIGatron

In another tight race, Tristan England currently leads Ryan Anderson by 14 points. Although Tristan is a former World Finals Champion and a three-time arena series champion, he has never won a stadium series in his stellar career. Make no mistake about it, Ryan Anderson isn’t going away and this series will most likely come down to the final event in Inglewood, but Tristan is having the best season of his career. The second-generation driver has excelled in all 3 competitions and elevated his game to another level with the ultimate goal of bringing a championship trophy to the JCB Team within reach.

Arena Championship Series West – Weston Anderson/Grave Digger

Weston Anderson will win his fourth straight series championship. The question on this series is when will he clinch it? With a 285-point lead over his nearest competitor, the youngest Anderson has put together another dominant season. With an automatic bid on the way for Weston, will he be able to turn his series championship into that elusive World Finals Championship? Time will tell. However, with the series all but clinched there is a fun battle to watch for 2nd place between Coty Saucier, Devin Winfield, and Brianna Mahon. Multiple World Finals invites out West?

Arena Championship Series East – Blake Granger/Monster Mutt Dalmatian

Blake Granger is already heading to World Finals as the International Series Champion. The Louisiana native has the opportunity to make history by winning two series titles in the same season. We’ve known Granger can drive for quite some time but, after a dynamite season last year, he was given the opportunity to run a full domestic series, and he has not disappointed. Monster Mutt Dalmatian has a 101-point lead over MJ Solorio, who is also in a fun battle for second with Tony Ochs. With Monster Mutt Dalmatian most likely winning the series, who will get the automatic bid on this series? Would It go to the 2nd place driver? Or will Blake accept the East bid and open the International Series up to another driver? Questions will be answered when this series is clinched.

Arena Championship Series Central – Jon Zimmer Jr/Terminal Velocity

This series is the hardest to predict. I have written about the Central before on this platform and how much fun this series has been. Although that has not changed, the points lead has a few times. Jon Zimmer Jr. currently leads the series by 32 and 41 points respectively over Matt Cody and Jamie Sullivan. Zimmer Jr has established himself as legitimate star in his return to the sport and would be a popular choice to win big in Salt Lake City in what would be his first main field appearance at World Finals. Cody and Sullivan continue to stay strong and pose legitimate threats to stop Terminal Velocity from becoming the first independent truck to win a Monster Jam series. No matter what happens, I could see all three earning bids to the biggest event of the year.
