Blake Granger is Champion Once Again

Authored by Scott Jordan on February 13, 2025

Less than one year ago, Blake Granger made history when he was crowned the first ever International Series Champion, earning an automatic bid to compete at Monster Jam World Finals for the first time in his career. Last weekend in Sweden, Granger guided Megalodon to a second-place finish earning enough points to earn his second consecutive series win. Now Blake will turn his attention to making history once again by returning Stateside to win Arena Championship Series East, which would make him the first driver to win two series championships in the same year.

Granger currently leads the East series by 81 points over Krysten Anderson, who herself made history in 2022 when she became the first female driver in Monster Jam to win a series a championship. Now they are fighting for the right to claim more hardware along with MJ Solorio, Brandan Tulachka and Tony Ochs.

Some may forget that Granger already has a World Finals Championship trophy on his mantle from the Triple Threat year back in 2019 when the accomplished ATV rider took home the gold medal in Orlando. A second World Finals win, this time in the main field, would go a long way in solidifying the Louisiana native is one of the best drivers in the sport.

The International Series Champion is a fierce competitor with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. As he continues to rack up the wins, that chip may very well be molded out of Cold Hart Art as his trophy case continues to become more crowded. The 2024 Co-Breakout Driver of the Year may also have some redemption on his mind after the first main field appearance at World Finals did not go his way last year at SoFi Stadium. Now he will get a chance to shine on the biggest stage once more.

If Blake does win the east, will another international driver get the invite to Salt Lake City instead, or it will it go to the runner-up on the domestic series? We will have to wait for that question to be answered when this series ends. For now, let’s enjoy the International Series Champion in his quest for history as ACS East roars into Pittsburgh this weekend.
