Weekend Recap: Final Champion Crowned as Series Championships Conclude

Authored by Monster Jam on May 11, 2026

Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger) had earned an automatic bid to Monster Jam World Finals with his championship victory in Denver, CO, last weekend, as Monster Jam’s 2026 series championships came to an end.

Stadium West – Denver

The lone series championship left to resolve last weekend was determined by one Saturday night event at the Empower Field at Mile High stadium in Denver, CO. Ryan Anderson came in the points leader and got off to a good start with the JCB Racing win. However, championship rival Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) won the Skills Challenge while Ryan could only place 8th. This meant it was all to play for in Freestyle. Zack Garner (Wild Side) won Freestyle and Bryce Kenny (Tech Deck Wreck Deck) won the night Overall, but the championship went the way of Ryan Anderson who placed third in Freestyle.

International Series – Helsinki

Brandon Arthur (Earth Shaker) swept all four Overall Event Championships last weekend as Monster Jam returned to the Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, Finland, for the first time since 2017. Peter Nyman (El Toro Loco) and Charlie Pauken (Grave Digger) were the only other competitors to break through for competition wins, with Peter taking a Racing win and two Skills wins, while Charlie also took a Racing win and three Freestyle wins.

Arena East – Worcester

The Arena Series East championship has already been secured by Jon Zimmer Jr. in Terminal Velocity, but last weekend’s events at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA, reminded us just how competitive this series championship is as each of the four events saw a different Overall Event Champion. Triton Robbins (Krazy Train), Zimmer Jr., Coty Saucier (Dragon), and Loghan Ashline (Sparkle Smash) each got to take home a trophy, while Montana Robbins (Plane Krazy) and Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) also picked up competition wins throughout the weekend.

Angelina Nock locked down her first Freestyle win and Overall Event Championship behind the wheel of Megalodon at the Vibrant Arena in Moline, IL, on Saturday night, after a solid night which she capped off with the Freestyle win. Both Saturday events saw Matt Cody (Grave Digger) win JCB Racing and Tim Hall Jr. (Jurassic Attack) win Skills, and then the winner of Freestyle go on to win the Overall. At the second event, it was Tim Hall Jr. who won Freestyle and the Overall.

Freestyle Mania – Manchester

It was a rocky start to the season for the eventual series champions Team Grave Digger but, by the end of the season, Weston Anderson and Noah Bakken had got it locked down. Not only had they secured the series championship prior to last weekend’s season finale at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, but they then proceeded to go on and sweep all three Overall Event Championships. However, they didn’t completely shut out their competitors in the competitions, and in fact six of the eight teams took home competition wins across the three events.
