I love the Monster Jam Channel! Yes, that is how I am starting this week’s editorial piece. We live in a world where we can literally watch nearly every Monster Jam event from around the globe in real time which last weekend included a stellar arena lineup in Colorado Springs and the Stadium Fall Series in Syracuse. Colorado Springs is a beautiful town and an even better setting for Monster Jam, and Syracuse has featured some amazing moments for me including standing on top of the JMA Wireless Dome and Coach Bari running me up the stairs as I trained for my R/C showdown with Colt Stephens. I digress, but if you happened to tune in to any of those events from last weekend you saw some incredible Monster Jam action.

Let’s start with Preston Collins. The Earth Shaker driver looked unbeatable in JCB Racing, and that is because he was unbeatable in JCB Racing. In four events no one crossed the finish line faster than Collins. Let that sink in for a minute. Four events, four race passes around the Broadmoor World Center… and no one could touch what Earth Shaker was putting down. It is hard enough to win one JCB Racing competition in Monster Jam, let alone four, but to sweep the weekend is downright absurd and Preston Collins did it! Make sure you check out the Team Throttle Monster driver in a city near you.

Tell me if you have heard this before: Tyler Menninga is winning his series. Camden Murphy is right there with him. Tristan England won the BKT Overall Event Championship trophy. Syracuse hosted another amazing Monster Jam event at the JMA Wireless Dome (formerly the Carrier Dome) and “The Home of the Orange” is also home to some of the best Monster Jam fans in the world who got to witness a gnarly Halloween-themed track. They showed up and showed out and so did our drivers. England put on an absolute clinic on his way to the top of the podium, Murphy is always entertaining and – when you put him behind the wheel of The Amazing Spider-Man – amazing things are going to happen, and Tyler Menninga did more than enough to maintain his series points lead heading into the final event in Glendale. Tyler is Monster Jam’s all-time leader in series wins with seven, and another championship trophy is looking likely for the three-time World Finals champ. Also, a special shout out goes to Triton Robbins with a great event in Krazy Train at his home stadium, finishing third overall.

More events are on the horizon as we move into November, with State Farm Stadium on deck, and Hampton, Dayton, and Omaha on the horizon, also don’t forget about Christmas Chaos coming to Anaheim in December. Get your tickets now or check the Monster Jam Channel for times so you don’t miss a minute of the action!
