These live events are historic because they will mark the first time a motor sport of any kind has played both Singapore\u2019s National Stadium and Beijing\u2019s renowned \u201cBird\u2019s Nest\u201d National Stadium, home of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games and future home of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. By the end of 2017, the Monster Jam franchise will have expanded its live events into six first-time markets which include: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Buenos Aries, Argentina; Lyon, France; Beijing, China; Singapore; and Sao Paulo, Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese events have been several years in the making. It is our honor and privilege to bring the most famous larger-than-life Monster Jam trucks to iconic, state-of-the-art venues like Beijing\u2019s Bird\u2019s Nest and the Singapore National Stadium,\u201d noted Rob McHugh, Senior Vice President of International Business at Feld Entertainment. \u201cRecent expansion into Saudi Arabia in the Middle East and Asian high-profile markets, like Beijing and Singapore, are a priority for the Monster Jam franchise. We see market expansion creating new generational fans who crave bigger, faster and louder experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Monster Jam, the most accessible and family-friendly sport in the world, gathered a full crowd of over 50,000 fans on July 29 in Beijing. The Singapore show on August 19 will also give fans access to the famous larger-than-life Monster Jam trucks including, Grave Digger<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> and Max-D\u2122, driven by world-class athletes who demonstrate the rare combination of physical strength, mental stamina and dexterity competing in racing and freestyle competitions. The Brazil Monster Jam engagement, announced on July 30, will be held in December of 2017 in Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>The Monster Jam franchise has become a worldwide phenomenon illustrating substantial international growth over the last 15 years. With the newest addition of Beijing, China; Sao Paulo, Brazil and Singapore, Monster Jam will have held events in 56 international cities and 30 countries since its first international show in Paris in 2002.
