(January 4, 2015) \u2013 This weekend, Monster Jam\u00ae<\/sup> fans in Des Moines, Iowa witnessed the first ever tour stop on the points-paying endurance challenge highlighted by more of what the fans have been longing for…more trucks, more racing, more freestyle, more donuts, more wheelies, more action…#MoreMonsterJam!<\/p>\n

Wells Fargo Arena was the backdrop for three #MoreMonsterJam performances in which Monster Energy\u2019s Coty Saucier was the most consistent athlete of the weekend, leaving Des Moines with 6 points and the overall points leader heading into Louisville.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsistency paid off this weekend in Des Moines,\u201d said Monster Energy\u2019s Coty Saucier. \u201cThere are a lot of points on the line every weekend at #MoreMonsterJam, and I\u2019m just glad to be heading to Louisville with the early lead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other highlights included El Toro Loco’s Becky McDonough scoring a perfect 40 points in the Donut Competition on Saturday night, and then again repeating her performance Sunday afternoon wowing the judges for another 40 point score. However, immediately following, Monster Mutt’s Daron Basl forced the judges to lay down another 40 point perfect score.<\/p>\n

One of the most electrifying performances came out of Grave Digger’s Colton Eichelberger when he made history executing an arena backflip during the Sunday performance. The crowd of fans stood up and the VIP Judges declared Eichelberger the winner of the Freestyle Competition netting him the Sunday performance champion.<\/p>\n
