{"id":42984,"date":"2026-03-26T20:31:52","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T20:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/?p=42984"},"modified":"2026-03-27T17:10:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T17:10:23","slug":"big-weekend-for-the-zimmers-and-cp3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/en-us\/news\/big-weekend-for-the-zimmers-and-cp3\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Weekend for the Zimmers and CP3"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section \n  id=\"main-custom-content-block\"\n  style=\"padding-top:px;padding-bottom:px;background-color:;color:;\"\n>\n  <div class=\"container container-c\">\n    <div class=\"split\" style=\"gap:px;\">\n                        <div class=\"side \">\n\n                                          <p>Send It Motorsports is relatively new to Monster Jam, but the team out of Howell, MI, made a splash last weekend winning three Overall Event Championships, highlighted by the first career win for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/en-us\/driver\/chuckie-pauken\/\"><strong>Chuckie Pauken III<\/strong><\/a>, also known as CP3.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When the team formed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/en-us\/driver\/jon-zimmer-sr\/\"><strong>Jon Zimmer Sr.<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/en-us\/driver\/jon-zimmer-jr\/\"><strong>Jon Zimmer Jr.<\/strong><\/a> relocated from North Carolina to Michigan taking Terminal Velocity with them and adding Uproar. Now with four trucks competing in Monster Jam, this team has made an impact, including becoming the first independent team to win a Monster Jam series, which was won last year by Jon Zimmer Jr. The team also added two young rising stars in Pauken III and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/en-us\/driver\/kylie-kent\/\"><strong>Kylie Kent<\/strong><\/a>, who drive Classroom Crusher and Sparkle Smash respectively on the Freestyle Mania Championship Series.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Last weekend in Grand Rapids, CP3 earned his first career event championship trophy when he and FMX teammate, Drew Slaugh, won the top honors on Friday evening. As a second-generation driver, Pauken has earned his spot with hard work and dedication as both a technician and driver. Pauken made his driving debut in 2023 behind the wheel of Excaliber for TomFoolery Motorsports and then was named a UNOH Technician of the Year in 2024 before receiving his full-time ride in a second Classroom Crusher truck in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Chuckie wasn\u2019t the only winning driver on the team over the weekend as the Zimmer\u2019s alternated wins in Hartford, with Jon Jr. taking the trophy on Saturday evening, and Jon Sr. earning his first of the year on Sunday. Terminal Velocity once again sits on top of the series points standings as \u201cLil Zim\u201d looks to take another trophy back to the team shop in Howell. With World Finals XXV approaching, many fans are speculating online that the series trophy may not be the only hardware the Zimmers bring home in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With the veteran Jon Zimmer Sr. still bringing it, the defending champion Jon Zimmer Jr. still winning, and the rising stars Pauken and Kent continuing to get better, the banner year that Send It Motorsports is having in
