As the sport continues to lead way in live family entertainment, a new wave of second-generation drivers with familiar last names are now carving their own paths and driving their way to victory. There are 16 second-generation drivers currently in Monster Jam and here is a breakdown of their impact in the sport.

Chris Koehler – Chris had big shoes to fill when he entered Monster Jam as the son of a two-time World Finals Freestyle champion, but he was able to win Co-Rookie of the Year and continue to develop his own legacy with the debut of Mayhem. Multiple Freestyle wins have followed and Chris is enjoying his best season yet, currently sitting 3rd on Stadium Championship Series East.

Charlie Pauken III – CP3 has been around the sport all his life as the son of a former World Finals Freestyle champion. He has made a name for himself as a top technician and finally got a seat piloting Classroom Crusher. After picking up his first JCB Racing win last weekend in Milwaukee, the sky is the limit for the school bus on the Freestyle Mania Championship Series.

Jon Zimmer Jr. – When your dad has driven more trucks than most aspiring drivers could ever fathom in a lifetime, the expectations are high. Jon Zimmer Jr. however has turned those expectations into accolades as he took a truck that was born on a simulator game and turned it into a champion. Lil’ Zim is the first independent driver to ever win a series championship if we are being specific, and as the current series points leader on Arena Championship Series East, another trophy might soon takeover the mantle.

Zack Garner – How do you live up to the reputation of a team owner and philanthropist like Jamey Garner? You win a World Finals championship, and you become one of the fastest rising stars in the sport. Zach has taken Wild Side from a pipe dream to major force and the legend continues to evolve after a dominant performance in San Diego.

Mikayla/Brandan Tulachka – Brandan and Mikayla learned from their dad Mitch and have been a part of Monster Jam for the last few seasons. As drivers of Zombie and Megalodon, the Wisconsin natives continue to live up to expectations piloting two of the most popular trucks in the sport. As the season rolls on, the wins continue to pile up for the Tulachka siblings.

Montana/Triton Robbins – Bob Robbins is a legend in the sport as old school fans fondly remember the Aftershock days, however his sons are creating their own paths in the sport with Krazy Train and Plane Krazy, two of the coolest looking trucks in Monster Jam. Triton won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2025 but Montana wasn’t far behind and together the Robbins brothers continue to be major players on Arena Championship Series East.

Mike Pagliarulo – Mike has had the opportunity to watch his dad Matt, and his brother Nick, have success in Monster Jam. That led to the return of Excaliber, Co-Rookie of the Year honors, and a World Finals birth for the driver out of Osteen, Florida. With multiple Freestyle wins over the last two seasons in a historic truck, the best is yet to come for Mike Paglairulo.

The Andersons – What can you say about the most iconic family in Monster Jam history? They win. They still win. Adam is in his 20th season and has won 5 World Finals Championships. Ryan is celebrating 15 years of Son-Uva Digger and has matched his brother in world titles. Weston has won a series championship every season he has been in the sport, and Krysten made history as the first female series champion in Monster Jam. It’s safe to say that legacy Dennis Anderson built is safe with his children.

Tristan England – The son of “The Big Kahuna” Shane England has been one of the best in the sport over the last few years winning multiple series titles and two World Finals championships as he became the face of Team JCB. Tristan continues to not only get it done on the track but also help develop the future of the sport at Monster Jam University further cementing his legacy.

Colt Stephens – King Krunch is a historic Monster Jam truck, which is why Colt Stephens has a tall task in living up to his father’s legacy which I believe he has not only done but surpassed. After a few years in the broadcast booth with NBC Sports, Colt has elevated himself into the upper echelon of drivers by winning two World Finals championships and earning a reputation as one of the highest flyers in the sport.

Mikey Vaters II – Hagerstown, Maryland, has been a historic hotbed of Monster Jam action with Vaters Motorsports engrained in the history books. Mikey Jr. already built on his legacy with a World Finals Freestyle title back in 2015 in Overkill Evolution and has continued to add to it by driving The Amazing Spider-Man and Megalodon on the international series.
