Sparkle Smash Bash was a big hit amongst the excited Missouri Monster Jam fans with the first of five stunts debuting. Speaking of debuts, we saw Bryce Kenny behind the wheel of Tech Deck Wreck Deck and Dalton Widner bring Shell Shock\u2019ed into competition for the first time. In a night of firsts, Tyler Menninga got back to his winning ways and showed fans no matter how many shiny new toys were on the track, good old Grave Digger was back in business and looking for another series championship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Menninga was near perfect, falling to Zack Garner in the JCB Racing finals, before winning Skills and Freestyle. Tyler fell just short of winning the Freestyle Mania Series Championship and now looks geared up for another amazing run in what some fans are saying could be the most stacked lineup in recent memory. Find out when Sparkle Smash Bash heads to Arlington, Texas on October 4th.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile at the Tacoma Dome, Monster Jam fans got to witness a first of their own as young driver Preston Collins started the weekend by winning the first competition of his career, when Jurassic Attack took home the win in JCB Racing. After driving on the independent circuit for two years, the Texas native made his Monster Jam debut earlier this year after earning a seat with Team Throttle Monster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After defeating Brianna Mahon in Ringling Bailey Circuit, an emotional Collins was nearly speechless as the emotions from a lifelong dream to drive in Monster Jam overcame him. We have watched a few super fans become super stars in Monster Jam over the years and Preston Collins is now the latest driver to go from being a fan in the stands to celebrating on top of the pod after a win. With a bright future ahead of him, I am certain this is not the last time we will see young Preston Collins crossing the finish line first in the JCB Racing finals.
