Zack Garner (Wild Side) won the JCB Racing World Championship at Monster Jam World Finals XXIII at SoFi Stadium on Saturday.
It was Garner’s first Monster Jam World Finals appearance. The Team Over Bored driver was the #10 qualifier and took the World Championship with his father and El Toro Loco driver Jamey Garner in attendance.
Zack Garner defeated Jim Koehler (Avenger), Adam Anderson (Grave Digger), Dalton Widner (Jurassic Attack) and Bari Musawwir (Zombie) en route to the final where he met the defending JCB Racing Champion Tristan England (JCB DIGatron). However, Garner had lane choice and laid down a solid pass to ensure the victory.
LCQ winner David Olfert (Velociraptor) made it all the way to the semi-finals, and then won third place by defeating Bari Musawwir (Zombie) in the bronze medal race.
First World Finals Championship feeling. ❤️
