World Finals Paint Outs Revealed

Authored by Scott Jordan on June 6, 2025

There are a million reasons for fans to be excited about World Finals XXIV in Salt Lake City, from spending July 4th weekend with Monster Jam, to new stunts, to the beauty that is Salt Lake City, but one thing our fanbase always looks forward to are the reveals of the special edition truck bodies they will see at the biggest event of the year.

We gave you a small taste during the World Finals Selection Show when I announced the arrival of Grave Digger Stars & Stripes, which will be driven at Rice-Eccles Stadium by Matt Cody in the Last Chance Qualifier. Now if you don’t get to see this awesome truck in person in Utah, don’t worry because the Monster Jam Road Trip may be rolling into a city near you at your local Walmart. For more information on where the truck will appear, you can head right here: https://www.monsterjam.com/en-us/road-trip/

Grave Digger Stars & Stripes joins the previously revealed Megalodon Stars & Stripes which debuted in Seattle and will be once again driven by Todd Leduc, as well as the newly announced El Toro Loco Stars & Stripes, which will ride with Fernando Martinez in the Last Chance Qualifier. Speaking of El Toro Loco, MJ Solorio will get his own variant as the yellow version of “The Crazy Bull” will return in the LCQ as well. Not to be outdone, Team Zombie gets a little throwback as Jon Zimmer Sr. will roll out the Nitro Zombie, last seen in the Superstar Challenge back in 2023.

Tony Ochs will return to the LCQ and he is bringing the “Reverse” ThunderROARus back with him. The paint out gets flipped as red becomes the primary color of this 12,000-pound pre-historic menace. ThunderROARus “Red” made waves at SoFi Stadium one year ago and will continue bringing the heat this year in Salt Lake City.

Everyone’s favorite fearless unicorn is also getting an upgrade as Kayla Blood will debut a “glittered out” version of Sparkle Smash. Who can forget the viral debut of the larger-than-life Sparkle Smash at World Finals last year? Now one year later we get two, with Jamie Sullivan bringing the traditional body to Rice-Eccles Stadium, and now Kayla Blood giving Sparkle Smash fans twice the fun with an even more colorful version.

Team Grave Digger is getting their own iconic paint outs as it was just announced that Kyrsten Anderson will compete in the main field behind the wheel of “Grandma”, which is a throwback to the iconic version driven by her father, Dennis Anderson. Weston Anderson will be riding in style with his own throwback as the incredible “Red Primer” Grave Digger will return to try and power the youngest Anderson to his first World Finals title. If that wasn’t enough to get your Grave Digger hype going, Adam Anderson will return to “Grave Digger: The Legend” during 4th of July weekend. It was in this legendary Monster Jam truck that Anderson won two of his five World Finals Championships, winning racing in 2013 and 2014.
