Monster Jam was back on the road last weekend with four events at the Spokane Arena in Washington, all of which were available for the world to watch on our live streams. A lot of fans tuned in to see the one-time only return of Backwards Bob driven by Dalton Widner. Although Widner started the weekend off with an overall win on Friday, it was Brianna Mahon (Scooby-Doo) and Matt Cody (Grave Digger) who ruled the roost for the final three events in the Pacific Northwest.
After Backwards Bob dominated the action on Friday night, it was everyone’s favorite mystery-solving canine getting it done on Saturday afternoon, as Mahon caught fire early winning the JCB Racing competition. This would be the first of three wins on the day for the Illinois native as she hoisted the Overall Event Championship trophy.

Matt Cody got in on the action in prime-time Saturday night with wins in skills, wheelies, and freestyle, which led Grave Digger to a resounding overall event win. Matt is primed and ready for his first domestic championship series in 2025, as he looks to win back-to-back series titles and finally earn a spot in the main field at World Finals XXIV.
With three different winners through the first three events, the question on fans’ minds was would we get a fourth on Sunday afternoon? Not if Brianna Mahon had anything to say about it. After once again starting strong in racing by earning a win, she picked up her second wins in sky wheelies and freestyles and ultimately took home her second trophy of the weekend.

There was a lot to be excited about in Spokane, whether you are a nostalgic fan who wanted seeing Bob run backwards one more time, or you were looking forward a glimpse of rookie drivers Abe Galvan and Khalil’ La’Marr, but at the end of the day Scooby Doo sent the fans home happy and Brianna Mahon is still one of the best in the business as we move into an exciting 2025 Monster Jam season.
