Stadium Championship Series West:
Monster Jam fans at the Lumen Field in Seattle on Saturday not only got to witness the debut of Megalodon Stars & Stripes, but also got to see the truck do a consecutive backflip. However, such is the level of talent in Monster Jam, that even this stunt was not enough for Todd LeDuc to win Freestyle. Instead, it was Adam Anderson (Grave Digger) winning Freestyle, with an impressive run that saw him score a 9.287. Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger) kicked the night off with a win in JCB Racing, then points leader Tristan England had a great showing in the Skills challenge, earning him a 9.657 and the win. However, it was Bryce Kenny (Monster Mutt) who performed consistently in all three competitions and took home the Overall Event Championship.
Stadium Championship Series East:
Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) took home the Overall Event Championship at the Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans on Saturday night, and with it took the points lead back from Bari Musawwir in Zombie. The night kicked off with Dalton Widner (Jurassic Attack) winning JCB Racing for the second week in a row. Camden Murphy then took the series to school with a win in the Skills challenge, before Menninga delivered a 9.164 in Freestyle to take home the competition win, the Overall, and the points lead.
Arena Championship Series West:
Arena Championship Series West headed to the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH, for four events last weekend. Points leader Weston Anderson (Grave Digger) took home the Overall Event Championship on Friday and Sunday, but there was more parity throughout the tour on Saturday, with the field shutting out Anderson from the winner’s circle. Coty Saucier (Dragon) swept JCB Racing on Saturday, and also picked up a Skills challenge win in the afternoon and Freestyle in the evening. He did enough during the afternoon event to win Overall. As for the evening, Devin Winfield came out strong in Velociraptor to win Skills and the Overall. Brianna Mahon (Scooby-Doo) also delivered in Freestyle, picking up two competition wins throughout the weekend.
Arena Championship Series Central:
Six of the stars from the Arena Central tour headed to the MVP Arena in Albany, NY, for three non-points events. While the Overall Event Championships went the way of Jamie Sullivan (Sparkle Smash) Saturday afternoon, and then Jon Zimmer Jr. (Terminal Velocity) Saturday evening and Sunday, it was the Robbins brothers who raised eyebrows and reminded us that they would be ones to watch in the second half of the season. Montana Robbins picked up a JCB Racing win and a Skills challenge win throughout the weekend, while Triton Robbins also picked up a Skills win with Krazy Train on Saturday.
Arena Championship Series East:
Six of the stars from Arena East headed to the Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, MS, for three non-points events. With points leader Blake Granger absent, Brandan Tulachka (Just Get-Er-Done II), MJ Solorio (El Toro Loco) and Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) all found their ways to the top throughout the weekend, each winning multiple competitions. MJ picked up the Overall Event Championships on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday, while Krysten won Overall on Saturday evening.
