Monster Jam Visited Four Stadiums that Hosted NFL Games in 2015

Authored by Monster Jam on November 11, 2022

Stadiums that serve as the home for National Football League teams have often been popular stops for the tours of Monster Jam®.  Last weekend (February 20), Monster Jam® visited four stadiums that hosted NFL games in 2015 and witnessed two double down victories in the process.

In Jacksonville, NFL home of the Jaguars, Grave Digger® and Carl Van Horn captured the Racing and Freestyle championships, but it was far from easy. In the Racing finale, Grave Digger® topped 2005 World Freestyle Champion Jimmy Creten and Bounty HunterTM.. The Freestyle crown was even more difficult as Ryan Anderson and Son-Uva Digger® was gunning for a fourth straight stadium victory and scored a nearly unbeatable 42 points. Grave Digger matched the 42 and won the event on a tiebreaker, giving Van Horn his second Freestyle title of the year. Scott Liddycoat in DragonTM. achieved a personal milestone with his first stadium Donut win.

At the place where the Saints go marching in, the Superdome in New Orleans, another first occurred when Doom’s DayTM. recorded a stadium Racing championship. It was the third final round appearance for Doom’s DayTM. this year. Scott Buetow and Team Hot WheelsTM. Firestorm had a rough start with a Qualifying round crash, but rebounded nicely for a Freestyle win. The triumph was the second of the season for Buetow after winning Anaheim earlier this month.

The home of the Oakland Raiders saw Neil Elliott and Max-DTM put on another dominating performance in a field of 16 Monster Jam® trucks, charging through the Racing and Freestyle competitions. Two-time Monster Jam World Finals® champion Todd LeDuc in Metal MulishaTM. showed some of that winning character by defeating the field in Donut action.

The FS1 Championship went to St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome, which is now the former home of the Rams. Keep an eye out for complete details of that exciting event.
