Five Things We Learned from the 2024 Monster Jam Season

Authored by Scott Jordan on May 10, 2024
  1. Monster Jam is still unpredictable in the most exciting of ways.

This was one of the wildest seasons in recent memory, with driver changes, unbelievable finishes, and unlikely heroes. As an announcer I always talk about how anything can happen in the sport and although at times that tends to be a cliché’, the 2024 season proved that Monster Jam fans can still expect the unexpected at any event.

  1. The Anderson Dynasty is still strong.

Sure, not every member of the Anderson family won a series championship this year and it’s crazy that we kind of expect that at this point, isn’t it? However, Ryan and Weston still took home their championship trophies continuing the winning legacy down in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Krysten was engaged in a season long battle with Armando Castro that was both thrilling and entertaining and Adam, at times, looked like he turned the clock back 10 years on the track.

  1. Independent Teams are rising in the ranks.

Dalton Widner is heading to World Finals, Zack Garner is in the Main Field, the Pags are ready to throw down in the LCQ, Joe Foley has become a superstar, and have you seen the lineup for the LCQ? Independent teams have had a lot of success this year, winning competition after competition. Could this be the year another independent driver takes how a World Finals trophy? We’re all here for it.

  1. Dawn of the Digital Era.

Monster Jam continues to set the bar and change the game by live streaming more live events than ever before. Obviously, the experience of being at a Monster Jam event is unparalleled but if you live in Philly and want to watch freestyle from Seattle, we’ve got you covered. Make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel for all of the latest events.

  1. World Finals XXIII is going to be insane.

24 of the best superstars in the sport in the Main Field. The return of the Last Chance Qualifier. Four World Finals Championships on the line. The biggest Pit Party of the year. Hollywood. What more could you ask for? It’s the biggest World Finals of all time. Get your tickets at and I will see you at SoFI Stadium!
