{"id":45197,"date":"2026-07-05T03:22:54","date_gmt":"2026-07-05T03:22:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/?p=45197"},"modified":"2026-07-05T03:23:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T03:23:57","slug":"tristan-england-wins-bkt-freestyle-world-championship-at-world-finals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monsterjam.com\/en-my\/news\/tristan-england-wins-bkt-freestyle-world-championship-at-world-finals\/","title":{"rendered":"Tristan England Wins BKT Freestyle World Championship at World Finals"},"content":{"rendered":"<section \n  id=\"main-custom-content-block\"\n  style=\"padding-top:px;padding-bottom:30px;background-color:;color:;\"\n>\n  <div class=\"container container-c\">\n    <div class=\"split\" style=\"gap:px;\">\n                        <div class=\"side\">\n\n                                          <p>Tristan England (JCB DIGatron) won the BKT Freestyle World Championship at Monster Jam World Finals XXV at the Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is his first Freestyle World Championship, and caps off an impressive weekend after he was runner-up to Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) in the JCB Racing World Championship earlier on in the night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Going into Saturday\u2019s content, Dalton Widner (Shell Shock\u2019ed) held the Freestyle lead with a score of 8.769 from Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t until Fernando Martinez \u2013 El Toro Loco Stars &amp; Stripes \u2013 went out as the sixth truck on Saturday, that Widner was dethroned as Fernando performed two backflips into moonwalks and scored an 8.764.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Martinez held the lead for the next six runs \u2013 even after Adam Anderson (Grave Digger The Legend) \u2013 performed a run that got a score of 9.458 from the fans, but averaged out to a 8.490 with the Expert Judges\u2019 Score.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tristan hit the track late on in the night and delivered an energetic run which included a \u201cKahuna flip\u201d during his run, and then ended with a backflip into moonwalk into a reverse jump, that netted him a score of 9.097.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There was just one competitor left \u2013 Ryan Anderson in Son-uva Digger. Anderson delivered a solid run, but came up short with a score of 8.996 \u2013 placing him second overall.<\/p>\n                          \n          <\/div>\n                  <\/div>\n
