Jon Zimmer Sr

Jon Zimmer started as a crew member in 2000 and the experience gained by the Vermont native led him to a seat five years later. After winning the Rising Star Award in 2009, Jon made his Monster Jam World Finals debut in 2010 and parlayed his success as an independent driver who was nearly unbeatable into a spot on Team Grave Digger in 2012. From there, Zimmer was called upon to pilot a number of trucks in domestic and international competition. He transitioned back to crew member, spearheading the efforts of his son Jon Jr., who earned co-Rookie of the Year in 2022. Jon is never far from the seat, though and instantly becomes the one to beat when he suits up as a relief driver.
