Last weekend in Glendale, Tyler Menninga clinched the Stadium Fall Series championship adding another trophy to his already crowded case over in Oskaloosa, Iowa. If you haven’t been counting, Menninga has had one of the most prolific Monster Jam careers when it comes to wins. Let’s begin…

Tyler began competing in Monster Jam 10 years ago behind the wheel of Blue Thunder after spending some time learning the ropes from the Anderson’s down at Digger’s Dungeon. The next year he would win his first of four Triple Threat Series championships before rising to prominence in stadium events, post-pandemic, as the 2023 Stadium Championship Series Blue winner. Two more first-quarter series wins would follow in 2024 and 2025 with the Stadium Fall Series win to come in 2026.

All he does is win-win-win no matter what, so let’s keep going. Menninga now has three World Finals titles in the last four years, which started with the 2-Wheel Skills World Championship in 2023, continued with the BKT Freestyle Championship in 2024, and then culminated with the JCB Racing trophy this year in Salt Lake City. Tyler also added to his impressive resume by sweeping the events in the 2023 Monster Jam Superstar Challenge as well.

So where does he rank currently among the all-time greats? Tom Meents leads the World Finals Championship wins category with 14. That is a number that may never be topped. Dennis Anderson won four world titles and created the most iconic truck in Monster Jam history. Ryan and Adam Anderson have each hoisted five World Finals trophies. Todd LeDuc recently stepped away after winning his third World Finals trophy, which has now been matched by both Tyler Menninga and Tristan England. However, when it comes to series wins, no driver in Monster Jam history has been to the top of the podium more than Tyler Menninga.

Monster Jam fans can debate as to who the greatest “Non- Anderson” Grave Digger driver in history is with names like Pauken and Zimmer among the sports elite, but on a global scale after 10 years and with this resume, it is hard to argue that Tyler Menninga is not one of the best drivers to ever strap into any Monster Jam truck. What are your thoughts?
