We are three weeks into the 2025 Monster Jam season, with some drivers building on their points leads while other tours are seeing things tighten up. Here’s how it all went down last weekend:
Stadium Championship Series East – Anaheim
Tyler Menninga’s clean sweep of JCB Racing in Grave Digger came to an end on Sunday, with Dalton Widner (Jurassic Attack) taking the JCB Racing win and his first ever stadium series Overall Event Championship. However, Menninga was still the winner of the weekend at the Angel Stadium of Anaheim, winning JCB Racing and the Overall on Saturday and ultimately padding his points lead from 15 points to 26. The Skills Challenge and Freestyle competitions each saw a different winner, with Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) and Bari Musawwir (Zombie) winning Skills on Saturday and Sunday respectively, and then Chris Koehler (Mayhem) and Cynthia Gauthier (Lucas Stabilizer) winning the Freestyles.
Stadium Championship Series West – St. Louis
Stadium Championship Series West sees Tristan England (JCB DIGatron) and Bryce Kenny (Monster Mutt) tied for the points lead heading into Week 4. England kicked things off on Saturday with the JCB Racing win, while Bryce won Freestyle. However, it was birthday boy Todd LeDuc (Megalodon) who took the Skills challenge win and the Overall. He now sits just 8 points back, third in the points. Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger) won Racing on Sunday, and finds himself 9 points back of the points leaders, fourth in the standings. England won Skills on Sunday en route to the Overall Event Championship, while Cole Venard (Black Pearl) won Freestyle.
Arena Championship Series West – Tacoma
Arena Championship Series West has been all about Weston Anderson (Grave Digger) so far this season, with Dalton Widner (Velociraptor) breaking through for two Overall Event wins. However, the black-and-green wrecking machine ran into a couple of issues this weekend, and it was Coty Saucier (Dragon) who was there to capitalize, winning three of the five Overall Event Championships, moving him up to second in the points. Weston Anderson did get the first Overall of the weekend on Friday, while Brianna Mahon (Scooby-Doo) also won her first Overall Event Championship of the year on Saturday. Weston still holds a 60-point lead, but Coty, Brianna and Devin are separated by just 30 points after 13 events in the battle for second.
Arena Championship Series East – Baltimore
Four different drivers tasted victory this weekend in Baltimore, with each of them taking a Freestyle win: MJ Solorio (El Toro Loco) on Friday night, Tony Ochs (ThunderROARus) on Saturday afternoon, Blake Grange (Monster Mutt Dalmatian) on Saturday evening, and Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) on Sunday. However, when it came to the Overall Event Championships and points standings, it was virtually all about Blake Granger. The driver of Monster Mutt Dalmatian has extended his points lead from 5 to 24, and won three of the four Overalls, only losing out on Friday to MJ Solorio. And yet, it is not Tony nor Krysten nor MJ who sits second in points now, but rather Brandan Tulachka (Just Ger-Er-Done) who consistently placed in the Top 3 in all four Overall Event Championships throughout the weekend.
