The July opening of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has provided an opportunity for Monster Jam® to return to the Twin Cities. The date for the return is Dec. 10.
The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, which previously occupied the site of U.S. Bank Stadium, was a regular stop on the Monster Jam tour until it was slated for demolition in January, 2014. The final Monster Jam event in the building was held on Dec. 7, 2013
Tickets for the Minneapolis event will go on sale to the general public on Sept. 27. Feld Preferred Customers can get tickets as early as Sept. 13. Click here to become a Feld Preferred Customer.
Max-DTM driver Tom Meents was on hand to get a firsthand view of the new stadium. Meents won the 2008 Racing championship in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis fans have been supporting Monster Jam activity since 1989. Plans call for 300 dump truck loads of dirt to transform the Minnesota Vikings football field into a state-of-the-art Monster Jam track.
More details will be announced at a later date.
