EVENT NOTES

Mutant and Coty Saucier made it two-for-two in Tulsa, as he secured another Event Championship on Sunday afternoon. The day started with a bit of an upset victory as Oklahoma’s own Devin Jones behind the wheel of Barbarian took the Monster Jam Racing win. Up next, veteran ATV rider Randy Dinkins grabbed the ATV Racing win for team Hotsy and then Grave Digger’s Krysten Anderson followed with an impressive Two-Wheel Skills Challenge victory, meaning it was anyone’s game heading into intermission. But in the second half of the show, Coty Saucier emerged seemingly even more determined than in the first, nabbing a Donut competition win before he unleashed possibly his best arena Freestyle of the year to earn that competition win and the final Event Championship trophy on this tour.

EVENT NOTES

Mutant’s Coty Saucier came storming back from a rain-soaked Metlife Stadium, to earn the first Overall Event Championship in Tulsa at the BOK Center on Saturday night. As he has a tendency to do, Coty started the night off on the right foot by taking the Monster Jam Racing win. He followed that up with a dominating Two-Wheel Skills Challenge win, to head into intermission with the lead. Grave Digger’s Krysten Anderson and Raminator’s Mat Dishman made it interesting in the second half as they refused to go down without a fight. But ultimately, Mutant’s Donut win and second place finish in Freestyle was more than enough to seal the victory for Coty Saucier and Team Mutant Super Soda.
