EVENT NOTES

The sun was rising on the last event in Tucson as Team Grave Digger, Stinger Unleashed and Scooby-Doo! battled it out for the Overall Event Championship.  Zane Rettew stung first as he raced his way to the top in Monster Jam Racing. Team Scooby-Doo! answered back as Jerrad Warhurst won ATV Obstacle Course. Grave Digger’s Randy Brown did not disappoint the fans as they awarded him with the highest score in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge and Donuts. Linsey Read was aiming for the Overall Event Championship as she took home another Freestyle win. But in the end, she was just two points shy of the trophy as Team Grave Digger closed out Tucson with their third Overall Event Championship. The battle for the berth to World Finals XX is heating up as Linsey Read begins to close the gap between her and Zane Rettew for the second-place position. We will see which Monster Jam truck will challenge Team Grave Digger once more next week in Nampa!

EVENT NOTES

Darren Migues in Dragon once again proved he was the fastest Monster Jam truck on the track by defending his Racing win. Randy Brown wowed the fans in that black and green wrecking machine as he won his third 2-Wheel Skills Challenge and his second Donuts competition here in Tucson. Scooby-Doo!’s Linsey Read was flying high with the Freestyle victory. But it was consistency that won the Overall Event Championship for Team Stinger Unleashed. Just when we thought Randy Brown was going to run away with the season points, Zane showed us that he is a force to be reckoned with. There’s only one more event to go here in Tucson. We will see if Zane Rettew can close the gap on Randy Brown or if Grave Digger can remain on top.

You could feel the energy from the sold-out crowd as the second event of the weekend was underway. Dragon’s Darren Migues was back on top in Monster Jam Racing, taking the first win of the event. Team Scooby-Doo! impressed the fans as Linsey Read took the win in Donuts and her husband, Jerrad Warhurst, taking the win in the ATV Obstacle Course. But it was Team Grave Digger that would defend the Overall Event Championship by dominating the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, ATV Racing, and Freestyle.

EVENT NOTES

The crowd was electric in Tucson as we began our four-event weekend! Linsey Read in Scooby-Doo! got the competition started with a big win in Monster Jam Racing. However, Tucson belonged to Team Grave Digger. Randy Brown dominated the track taking the top spots in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, Donuts and Freestyle. By claiming the first Overall Event Championship, we shall see if Randy Brown and Team Grave Digger can sweep the weekend!
