El Toro Loco’s Armando Castro had a dominating performance on Sunday afternoon in his home state of California for his second Overall Event Championship of the young season. With wins in the Donuts Competition and Speedster Obstacle Course, El Toro Loco compiled 41 total points, 11 ahead of second place. Those 41 points were also instrumental in bumping El Toro Loco into second place in the Season Standings. Grave Digger’s Krysten Anderson capped off the weekend with another Freestyle win, propelled by an awesome one-wheeled save. Her rivalry with EarthShaker’s Tristan England in the Freestyle competition continues…

EarthShaker’s Tristan England made it back-to-back Overall Event Championships at the Golden 1 Center on Saturday evening. He won the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge and Freestyle to seal the deal at the end of the night. The Freestyle win proved to be critical, as entering the competition, EarthShaker trailed Alien Invasion’s Bernard Lyght by one point. Speaking of Alien Invasion, Bernard Lyght has had arguably two of his best performances of his young career. He took the win in the Speedster Obstacle Course and his first ever Monster Jam Racing win. We’ll see if Bernard can build on the momentum he’s created behind the wheel of Alien Invasion on Friday and Saturday nights and put it all together with an Overall Event Championship on Sunday afternoon in Sacramento.

EarthShaker’s Tristan England got back to his winning ways on opening night at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. He took home wins in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge and the Speedster Obstacle Course. After starting out with a bang, the night quickly took a turn for the worst for El Toro Loco’s Armando Castro. He won a tough matchup in the Monster Jam Racing Final, but truck trouble kept him from competing, aside from Speedsters and ATVs, for the rest of the night. In what has become a bit of a trend, Krysten Anderson and Grave Digger, won another Freestyle Competition with a great run, capped with a phenomenal save.
