EVENT NOTES

It was time for the final event in Pensacola and everyone wanted a piece of the Overall Event Championship. Dragon’s Darren Migues once again claimed the victory in Monster Jam Racing. He was close to capturing the win in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge but Zane Rettew in Stinger Unleashed edged him out for the win. Scooby-Doo!’s Linsey Read picked up a Donuts win while Grave Digger’s Randy Brown drove that black and green wrecking machine into the top spot in Freestyle. With four different event winners, the Overall Event Championship came down to consistency. Darren Migues and that fiery beast were able to rise to the occasion by closing out the weekend with another Overall Event Championship. However, he almost lost out to his daughter who finished just one point behind him in the event standings. He now ties Monster Mutt Dalmatian’s Kaylyn Migues with two Overall Event Championships each this year and is just fourteen points ahead of her in the season standings. Can Darren keep this momentum going before we crown a champion? Tune in next week as we continue the action from Columbia, SC!

EVENT NOTES

The second event in Pensacola was all about Darren Migues and Team Dragon. Monster Jam’s fiery beast was consistently dominant from stat to finish. In a Monster Jam Racing Finals rematch from earlier today, Darren was able to outrace Bad News Travels Fast’s Brandon Derrow for the first eight points. Darren wasn’t done yet as he wowed the fans in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge that helped him earn his second win in his career. His teammate Tim Hymiller outraced the other riders taking a huge victory in ATV Racing. Through hard work and determination, it was clear that Darren Migues had fought his way to the top, claiming his first Overall Event Championship since Hamilton, ON in 2018. It was an emotional night for the Migues family as Monster Mutt Dalmatian’s Kaylyn Migues joined in the celebration honoring her father who showed the competition what it means to be a true Monster Jam legend.

EVENT NOTES

The sun was shining on Pensacola Bay Center as we geared up for a three-event weekend! Brandon Derrow returned to the action with bad news for the competition as he raced his way to the top of Monster Jam Racing. Scooby-Doo!’s Linsey Read dazzled the fans as she took the win in Donuts while Zane Rettew put down an impressive Freestyle performance. But it was Downtown Randy Brown and Team Grave Digger who were able to continue their dominance after winning all five Overall Event Championships last weekend in Hidalgo. Taking wins in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge and ATV Obstacle Course, the black-and-green wrecking machine is already off to a great start with the first Overall Event Championship of the weekend.
