The final event at Prudential Center in Newark was one of the most exciting yet! We saw not only one, but TWO backflips performed in the arena setting during Freestyle. One from Matt Cody in Blue Thunder, and another from Krysten Anderson in Grave Digger. Grave Digger won the hearts of the fans though, and took the wins in Freestyle and a third Donut win for the weekend. Megalodon’s Justin Sipes battled with El Toro Loco for the ATV Racing win, and came out victorious in the final round after a very heated match. It was Colton Eichelburger in Max-D who dominated today’s event though, taking home wins in Racing, 2-Wheel Skills, and the Speedster Obstacle Course. He swept the entire weekend with four Overall Event Championships, extending his season lead by 41 points! Things are heating up in Season Points as today, Mark List in El Toro Loco moved up into second place, inching over Megalodon’s Justin Sipes by one point. Next weekend in Uniondale shouldn’t be missed!

The competition heated up as our eight athletes battled for the championship in this weekend’s third event. Fans poured into Prudential Center and cheered wildly as the final round in Racing came down to El Toro Loco and Max-D. Mark List in El Toro Loco came out on top with his third consecutive Racing win for the week. Max-D and Megalodon’s Justin Sipes bumped and battled to the very end of ATV Racing, but Max-D was able to take that victory. Moving into the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, the crowd chose Megalodon to sit on top, even though he took his hat off to Colton Eichelburger in Max-D for his amazing tricks on just two wheels. Krysten Anderson once again wowed the screaming crowd with her right-handed Donuts and took home her second Donut victory for the weekend. The Speedster Obstacle Course was full of excitement as the athletes raced to the finish, often knocking each other out of the way, but it was Max-D who fought to cross the finish line first. Freestyle stunned the fans in Newark as Megalodon completed yet another backflip in this arena. In the end, Max-D’s consistency throughout the event paid off as he stood on the pod with his third consecutive Overall Event Championship, and taking a twenty-three point lead over Megalodon in Season Points.

After a first great event last night in Newark, our Monster Jam athletes came out in full swing today in our first event on Saturday. Mark List in El Toro Loco, aggressively trying to get out of that 3rd place position in the Season Standings, took the first competition win in Monster Jam Racing. Energized by his Overall Event Championship win last night, Colton Eichelberger in Max-D raced past all other riders in ATV racing grabbing himself 8 points in pursuit of his second championship win in New Jersey. Taking his second 8 point win of the day, El Toro Loco with Mark List snatched the lead over Matt Cody’s Blue Thunder in 2-Wheel Skills. Turning his prehistoric beast in circles, Justin Sipes in Megalodon spun his way into first place in the Donut competition. Having a rough jump at the start in the Speedster Obstacle Course Racing Finals, Zombie’s Brittany Marcotte missed her chance at the win giving Max-D another 8 points. In our last competition of the day, the Freestyle winner Justin Sipes in Megalodon gained massive air with a killer backflip into a moonwalk, and landed an impressive 9.746 score. Gaining momentum from his wins in Milwaukee and yesterday’s overall win, Colton Eichelberger in Max-D once again held that trophy proudly in his victory interview taking home another Overall Event Championship win.

Excitement was in the air as our Monster Jam athletes broke through the chill of Newark, New Jersey and brought the heat into the Prudential Center. Locking in the first 8 points in pursuit of the Overall Event Championship, Mark List with El Toro Loco ran his bull into the Racing Finals taking the win over Pirates Curse. No stranger to the ATV Finals, Megalodon and Max-D went head to head, but taking the holeshot at the wave of the green flag, Justin Sipes in Megalodon ultimately bit his way into the ATV win. Fighting to take over Megalodon’s first place position in the Overall Season Standings, Colton Eichelberger brought maximum destruction in Max-D with 2 great hits in 2-Wheel Skills giving him his first competition win of the weekend. Starting of the second half strong, Krysten Anderson in Grave Digger spun her black & green wrecking machine into the top spot of the Donut Competition.
Keeping her momentum off her Donut win, Grave Digger’s Krysten Anderson made it to the Speedster Obstacle Course finals against Max-D. With his eyes on the prize, Colton Eichelburger in Max-D won the final race over Grave Digger. Our final competition was an easy win for Justin Sipes as he made history landing a perfectly executed backflip for the first time in Newark giving him the Freestyle win. With his 3rd consecutive win and 40 points on the scoreboard, Colton Eichelberger in Max-D won the Overall Event Championship.
