EVENT NOTES

It was back-and-forth all event long in the Quad Cities on Sunday afternoon. Things opened with Roy Pridgeon of Megalodon capturing the Racing win. Up next, Brandon Vinson won the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, his second victory in that competition of the weekend. After the break, hometown girl Myranda Cozad and Scooby-Doo! won Donuts — also for the second time in two tries. After assists from their ATV teammates, things were close heading into Freestyle among the top three. Megalodon held the Freestyle lead for a while, and it looked like Roy Pridgeon would seal the Overall Event Championship. It was close but Megalodon came away with the win.

EVENT NOTES

Brandon Vinson and Grave Digger were able to capture the first Overall Event Championship in the Quad Cities on Saturday night. After a rough start in Racing, including a first-round exit, Brandon took the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge win — as he’s done so many times before. After intermission, he came up just short in Donuts, finishing in second to Scooby-Doo! and Myranda Cozad in her hometown. It was Grave Digger’s Freestyle win at the end of the night that sealed the victory and the Overall Event Championship.
