EVENT NOTES

The final day in Florence was upon us and all eyes were on Team Stinger Unleashed. However, he didn’t go unchallenged as Scooby-Doo!’s Linsey Read, with a win in Monster Jam Donuts, and Dragon’s Darren Migues, with a win in Monster Jam Racing, tried to upset the champion. But they and the rest of the competition were no match for the blue and green stinging machine. With a clean sweep in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, Monster Jam Freestyle, and the Overall Event Championship, Zane Rettew is only three points behind Grave Digger’s Randy Brown in the Season Standings. We will see if Team Stinger Unleashed can retake the top spot next weekend in Tupelo, MS!

The action continued in Florence as we entered the second event of the day. And this event truly belonged to Zane Rettew and Team Stinger Unleashed. The reigning Overall Event Champion was able to defend his title while also becoming a back-to-back winner in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge and Freestyle. With also a win in Monster Jam Donuts, Zane Rettew is showing he is a force to be reckoned with as he closes the gap on Grave Digger’s Randy Brown for the top spot in the Season Standings.

It was a historical day at the Florence Civic Center as the first event of the weekend was underway. Kaylyn Migues in Monster Mutt Dalmatian took home her first win in Monster Jam Racing for the 2019 Season. Linsey Rettew in Pretty Wicked dazzled in Monster Jam Donuts as she took home her first win in her Monster Jam career! But it was her better half, Zane Rettew and Team Stinger Unleashed who would dominate the day. With his second 2-Wheel Skills Challenge win and the 4th Overall Event Championship of the season, Zane is only 19 points behind Grave Digger’s Randy Brown in the pursuit for the berth for World Finals XX!
