Recap: Saturday night played out very similar to Saturday afternoon, with consistency proving to be the difference for EarthShaker. This time, Tristan England failed to win a single competition, however finished high enough in each discipline to hold off Grave Digger and the rest of the field for his second Overall Event Championship of the day. Elsewhere, Soldier Fortune Black Ops won another two competitions — this time ATV Racing and 2 Wheel Skills. Monster Mutt took his second Racing win of the season and Megalodon swept the day in the Speedster Obstacle Course. However the show was stolen by Grave Digger’s unbelievable Freestyle run. Brandon Vinson capped the event with one great move after another, until he punctuated the run with a picture perfect backflip. He earned a 9.841, by far the highest score of the weekend.

Recap: Saturday afternoon in Denver was a far departure from what took place last night. While Friday was all about Grave Digger’s dominance, Saturday showed just how competitive this tour is. Brandon Vinson did grab the Racing win to open things up before making it to the last two athletes in the ATV Racing Final. However, some technical issues with his ATV sealed the win for Monster Mutt — Tanner Root’s first ATV win of the season. Up next EarthShaker won his 13th 2 Wheel Skills Challenge of the year, as Tristan England has put himself in great position to return to World Finals in that competition. After the intermission, Tony Ochs bookended the second half by winning the Donut Competition and Freestyle for Soldier Fortune Black Ops. In between, Megalodon won another Speedster Obstacle Course. Austin Minton is trying to qualify for World Finals for the first time via that competition. Ultimately, while many athletes won individual competitions, EarthShaker’s Tristan England totaled more points than anyone else, giving him the Overall Event Championship and narrowing Grave Digger’s series points lead to 26.

Recap: Just as he did in the final event in Fargo last weekend, Brandon Vinson put on an absolute clinic on Friday night at the Pepsi Center. He won every competition except ATV Racing — where he finished in third. Overall, Grave Digger finished with an extremely impressive 46 out of 48 points. Adding to the run he’s been on, in previous events already this season, Brandon has point totals of 44, 46 and 47 points. That has helped Brandon leapfrog Tristan England of EarthShaker in the season point standings, where he now enjoys a 33 point lead.
