Recap: Sunday afternoon in Dayton was Krysten Anderson’s first Overall Event Championship of the weekend. After knocking on the door during both events on Saturday, the black and green team were able to finally break through. With the help of Jen Oliva on the ATV, Grave Digger was able to sweep the second half, taking wins in Donuts, ATV Racing and Freestyle. Elsewhere, Megalodon’s David Olfert captured his first career Monster Jam Racing win. During his interview, David was extremely emotional about what the moment meant to him. Congratulations to the entire Grave Digger team and to David Olfert for what should be the first of many Racing wins!

Recap: EarthShaker’s Tristan England made it two-for-two on Saturday night. After proving to be the dominating force earlier in the day, Tristan backed it up, in almost as dominating fashion in the nightcap. Krysten Anderson of Grave Digger also brought down the house with an excellent Freestyle run, en route to her second win in a row. Although, she ultimately didn’t land it, she nearly completed an arena backflip that wowed the Dayton faithful either way.

Recap: EarthShaker started off the weekend with a dominating Overall Event Championship. Between the Monster Jam truck events and the ATV disciplines, the EarthShaker team totaled 41 out of a possible 48 points. We’ll see if this sets the tone for the remainder of the events.
