EVENT NOTES

Monster Jam action wrapped up in Colorado Springs as Morgan Kane and Grave Digger took home the Overall Event Championship, his second straight on the weekend. Kane’s ATV Teammate Tyler Holcomb won the ATV Obstacle Course competition, the only win on the afternoon for Team Grave Digger. Megaldon’s Justin Sipes started the afternoon on fire with wins in Racing and the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, and then capped the night by capturing the top spot in Freestyle. Team Bad Company’s ATV rider Dan Arenas took the win in ATV Racing, and Monster Mutt Dalmatian Ice swept the weekend in Donuts as Cynthia Gauthier won her fourth such competition of the weekend.

EVENT NOTES

Monster Jam fans in Colorado Springs got what they came for as a wild night of action ended with Grave Digger’s Morgan Kane taking home the Overall Event Championship, his first of the weekend. Team Grave Digger dominated the first half of the night, with Kane winning Racing and the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge and his ATV teammate Tyler Holcomb taking home the top spot in the ATV Obstacle Course competition. The momentum then quickly shifted, as Team Monster Mutt Dalmatian Ice made a push toward the top of the event leaderboard. Cynthia Gauthier won her third straight Donut competition this weekend, and Nic Granlund bested the field in ATV Racing. Monster Jam Freestyle had Broadmoor World Arena rocking with excitement as Megalodon’s Justin Sipes finished on top. But in the end, Morgan Kane and Grave Digger did enough to stay ahead of the pack and take the Overall win. Competition wraps up with one final event tomorrow afternoon.

Murphy’s results closely mirrored his performance from last night, as Bakugan Dragonoid won Racing and 2-Wheel Skills on the way to a comfortable Overall win. Team Big Kahuna’s Brandon Ciptak bested the field in the ATV Obstacle Course competition, and Dan Arenas started out in front in ATV Racing and never looked back for Team Bad Company. Cynthia Gauthier captured the top spot in Donuts for the second straight event in Monster Mutt Dalmatian Ice. Finally, Grave Digger’s Morgan Kane closed the afternoon with a fast-paced run to take home the win in Freestyle.

Monster Jam rolled into Broadmoor World Arena for a full weekend of action, as Bakugan Dragonoid’s Camden Murphy took home the first of four Overall Event Championships here in Colorado Springs. Murphy captured the top spot in the Racing and the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge competitions, and his ATV teammate Todd Bunker won ATV Racing en route to the Overall crown. Cynthia Gauthier proved best in Donuts and her Monster Mutt Dalmatian Ice ATV teammate Nic Granlund won the ATV Speedster Obstacle Course competition. Finally, Grave Digger’s Morgan Kane capped the night in style by wowing the crowd to finish first in Freestyle. Things are only heating up, as the field will hit the track for another full day of excitement tomorrow.
