Sunday night in Cleveland did not disappoint! Fans cheered wildly as the athletes vied for the highest scores. Mark List in El Toro Loco stole the heart of the audience as he promised to give them his best, and it paid off in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge when he took home his first victory of the weekend. Even though El Toro Loco wracked up a respectable 35 event points, it was no match for Colton Eichelberger in Max-D as he dominated the night with 5 competition wins! Max-D not only battled to win ATV Racing, he also took home wins in Donuts, the Speedster Obstacle Course and Freestyle. Not only did he take home four consecutive Timed Racing wins, he also swept the competition wining all four Overall Event Championships this weekend!

The competition was hot on our second day in Cleveland at the Rocket Mortgage Field House as the athletes fought for every point. Timed Racing was a close call between Justin Hicks in Pirate’s Curse and Max-D’s Colton Eichelberger as the received the exact same time, tying for first place. Max-D walked out with the victory, as he claimed the time first, and then followed with wins in ATV’s and the Speedster Obstacle Course.Donuts were exciting with Krysten Anderson wowing the crowd once again to take home the Donut victory. Megalodon’s Justin Sipes fought hard trying to break Max-D’s winning streak, and grabbed wins in 2-Wheel Skills and Freestyle! With his third consecutive win this weekend, Max-D took the trophy and Overall Event Championship!

With our first 2 Cleveland events of the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series in the books, all 8 athletes finished the day strong. Coming off of his 5 competition wins from the 1st event of the day, Colton Eichelberger with Max-D swept the first half with wins in Racing, ATV’s, and 2-Wheel Skills. In the second half Justin Sipes in Megalodon fired back with the Donut win and 8 points in pursuit of that Overall. Blue Thunder’s Matt Cody represented his title as the 2019 Speedster Obstacle Course World Finals Champion with a win in Speedsters. The night wrapped with a killer back-flip by Krysten Anderson in Grave Digger giving her that Freestyle win. In the end, it wasn’t enough to stop Max-D for winning his consecutive win in Cleveland with a 2 point lead over Megalodon.

Cleveland opened with a bang with Max-D sweeping five out of six competitions! Several athletes vied to take the top spot away from him, including Justin Sipes in Megalodon. Megalodon was able to lock in a win in the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, and continuously challenged him for the lead throughout the night. It was a close call in Monster Jam Freestyle, as Max-D landed the first ever back flip in Cleveland, as Megalodon followed with an incredible save, barely swimming into second place. With wins in Racing, ATV’s, Donuts, Speedster Obstacle Course, and Freestyle, Colton Eichelberger racked up an impressive 45 points today, securing another win for team Max-D!
