Saturday 2:00 pm

Only two shows here in Florence SC stood in the way of the Monster Jam World Finals in just a few weeks, and these world class drivers were giving it everything that they had trying to win that prestigious invite to Las Vegas in just a few weeks! We started things off with the Wheelie Competition as always, and this time out it would be Zombie setting the pace. His score and the remaining scores are listed below in the order of competition.

Obstacle Course

The ultimate test of man and machine vs the track was up next, because the Obstacle Course Competition would be underway. This will be a times competition, therefore, the driver with the fastest time will be your winner. The times are listed below in the order of competition.

Lucas Oil Crusader 12.70
Carolina Crusher 11.26

Donut Competition

The Monster Jam Donut Competition was up next and the drivers were out to have some fun. The Florence SC fans were already amped up after a good first half of action, so lets keep it going! It is time for Monster Jam Donuts!

Zombie 32
Lucas Oil Crusader 29
El Toro Loco 36**
Grave Digger 32
Max-D 36**
Carolina Crusher 28

**As we all know, there are no ties in Monster Jam! After Max-D made his run, we had a tie atop the leader board. Monster Jam Officials had to go back to the highest scores that were thrown out earlier. We would have to look no further into the tie breaker scenario because the 9 of Max-D was higher than El Toro Loco’s 8 that was thrown out. Your Donut Competition Winner would be Max-D!

Freestyle Competition

Now it was time to send the Florence fans out in style! It was time for Monster Jam Freestyle!! The scores below are based on the order of competition.

Saturday 7:00pm

Wheelie Competition

Monster Jam fans the Road to the Monster Jam World Finals XVI came to a close here in Florence SC tonight at the Florence Civic Center. With less than two weeks until the World Finals, and invites coming in every day, all of these world class drivers were ready to put it all on the line for the possibility of getting the coveted invite to the big dance in Las Vegas. Neill Elliott already had his ticket punched as a result of winning the Monster Jam Fox Sports 1 Championship Series. Linsey Weenk had received his invite earlier in the week, and Bari Mussawir received his invite in the middle of his Freestyle run earlier in the afternoon. That left the rest of the field ready for action! And the action got underway with the Wheelie Competition. The results below are in the running order of the competition.

Zombie 35
El Toro Loco 25
Lucas Oil Crusader 28
Carolina Crusher 29
Max-D 35
Grave Digger 31

The tiebreaker scenario would come into play again, and it did not take long to decide the winner. After going back to the highest scores that were tossed out, Zombie won the tiebreaker and would be your Wheelie Champion for the second time this weekend!

Wheelie Competition Winner: Zombie

Obstacle Course Competition

Next up would be the Obstacle Course Competition. Again, this would be the ultimate test of man and machine vs the track. Sometimes the track wins, and sometimes the truck wins. Now lets see who came out on top as the fastest truck here in Florence!

El Toro Loco 10.88
Zombie 11.36
Lucas Oil Crusader DNF
Carolina Crusher 10.21
Max-D 10.93
Grave Digger 10.36

Obstacle Course Champion Carolina Crusher

It is worth noting that Lucas Oil Crusader had a breakage during his run, but was unable to continue. The University Technical Institute technicians went to work immediately following the breakage, but the problem seemed to be to severe to perform magic here tonight. He would have to sit on the sidelines for the rest of the night, and would not compete in any of the remaining events.

Donut Competition

Next up was the Donut Competition and although there were some pretty good efforts made, a perfect score of 40 would end up taking home the hardware! The results are listed below in the order of competition.

Zombie 30
Lucas Oil Crusader DNC
El Toro Loco 37
Grave Digger 32
Max-D 33
Carolina Crusher 40

Donut Competition Winner Carolina Crusher

Freestyle Competition

Now there was only one even left between Florence SC and the Monster Jam World Finals, and that would be Monster Jam Freestyle!! Four of these trucks had been on the Fox Sports 1 Championship Series Tour all year long working in stadium events. But there were two other trucks who had been going back and forth over the first 10 weeks of the season on the Arena Tour. Those two were Gary Porter in Carolina Crusher, and Randy Brown in Grave Digger. These two have practically went back and forth picking up wins everywhere they have went so far this year, so why should we expect to close out any other way here in Florence SC. These two drivers have amassed over 100 victories together so far in this Monster Jam season, so the only question left to be answered was which one would win Freestyle? After a couple of great runs near the end of the competition, another perfect score would take home the hardware. Below are the results in the order of competition.

Zombie 24
El Toro Loco 25
Lucas Oil Crusader DNC
Carolina Crusher 35
Max-D 36
Grave Digger 40

Freestyle Winner Grave Digger
