Baton Rouge's first night at the Baton Rouge River Center proved to set the tone for what looks to be an amazing weekend here in Louisiana. The first time that Baton Rouge has seen dirt ever here and was also introduced to the new hybrid track.
10 trucks ran the entire night without any mechanical issues. And gave fans an impressive first night. Strong showings in Freestyle by Team Hot Wheels Firestorm, Monster Mutt Dalmatian, and New Earth Authority gave eventual winner Alex Blackwell a run for his money. The night started off with Quad Wars - Team Alabama vs Team Louisiana. While Team Alabama won every race it was the finals where Team Louisiana pulled out the must win.

With the new hybrid track wheelies had some big vertical jumps by our Monster Jam drivers. But it was Alex Blackwell and Captains Curse that brought home the championship plaque.

The only female in this weekends competition; Candice Jolly proved she can beat the boys and drive Monster Mutt Dalmatian with the best of them. Proving that girls belong in this male dominated sport she came out with the win in the Obstacle Course Challenge.

Your Southern Quality Ford Dealers Donuts saw fans in dirt heaven. Our BKT tires griped the dirt tonight and showed our Monster Jam fans what donuts look like on dirt. Monster Mutt Dalmatian had fans screaming as Candice Jolly saved a potential role over. Team Hot Wheels Firestorm gave solid revolutions and fans came out of their seats as our eventual winner.

Freestyle showed some massive air with the hybrid track. Monster Mutt Dalmatian, Fatal Attraction, New Earth Authority and Team Hot Wheels Firestorm seemed to be aiming for the sky tonight. But it was Alex Blackwell's fast, solid, and hard run that gave our Freestyle winner a perfect 10.

An exciting sell out 2nd night in Baton Rouge at the Baton Rouge River Center!!! Fans where out of their seats the entire night as the 10 Monster Jam drivers gave Baton Rouge a show to remember. Again, introducing Baton Rouge to the new hybrid track and the dirt track , these Monster Jam fans weren't ready to leave as the nights show came to an end. A heart pounding, adrenaline night of wheelies, obstacle course, donuts and freestyle. Fans where exposed to a fantastic display of arena competition.
The night started off with Quad Wars - Team Alabama vs Team Louisiana. Team Alabama and Team Louisiana where both coming into the final with racing wins. It was Team Louisiana who pulled out another win.

Wheelies had some huge vertical jumps by our Monster Jam drivers. But it was Alex Blackwell again for a 2nd night that brought home the win with more than a few moves to impress our fan judges. Hitting all 4 hits, and riding across the hybrid track on the back end of the Monster Jam truck, fans screamed as the judges scores came up for his win.

It again was some major girl power as Candice Jolly proved she is one to watch at Monster Jam World Finals 16 in racing. Mike Miller in Hotsy set a fast tone early in Obstacle Course. Norm Miller and NEA as well as Scott Buetow in Team Hot Wheels Firestorm also where trying to eliminate Monster Mutt Dalmatian. But, another fast time from Monster Mutt Dalmatian, Candice Jolly came home with another winning plaque.

Freestyle was amazing tonight! Everyone from Ground Pounder, to Shock Therapy, to War Wagon, to Fatal Attraction to Hotsy all had solid strong big air runs. Straight Jacket was able to come back for freestyle as his transmission was fixed in just the right time. Monster Mutt Dalmatian had huge air flying the puppy through the track. New Earth Authority also hit the hybrid track with force and Captains Curse came roaring out of the pits to put on one big last reminder that Baton Rouge was here to see Monster Jam. But in the end, Team Hot Wheels Firestorm gave one of the biggest airs seen in an arena as some where thinking he was trying to touch the media board. With an incredible save putting himself back on 4 wheels, fans where screaming and cheering for an incredible display of driving, proving he deserved the win tonight.

Monster Jam drivers ended a three show weekend with a grand finale to remember. Fans once again where out of their seats the entire afternoon as the 10 Monster Jam drivers gave Baton Rouge a final good-bye. High flying action, dirt spitting donuts, and dizzying wheels, Monster Jam Baton Rouge had fans excited for more Louisiana Monster Jam.
The night started off once again with Quad Wars - Team Alabama vs Team Louisiana. Team Alabama was looking to upset Team Louisiana from a sweep, but Louisiana held its own for the win.

War Wagon had some strong wheelies to hold the lead for some solid rounds. But it was Captains Curse who came blowing out of the tunnel to catch some big vertical air on wheelies for the win.

But it was Steven Hill in Shock Therapy who held a strong fast time for the first half of Obstacle Course Challenge. Norm Miller in New Earth Authority also had a quick time but again it was Alex Blackwell holding the championship plaque.

Your Southern Quality Ford Dealers Donuts had fans out of their seats once again when Scott Buetow and Team Hot Wheels Firestorm took to the donut track. Brand Legarde in Ground Pounder won in a tie over Steven Hill in Shock Therapy to hold the lead for almost the entire round of donuts. But in the end Team Hot Wheels Firestorm held the Donut championship.

Andy Hoffman, driver of War Wagon set the tone for Freestyle for most of this competition. A strong run from War Wagon, his score was almost impossible to beat up until Monster Mutt Dalmatian hit the track. But with some major big air from Team Hot Wheels Firestorm, it was going to create some intense driving from Captains Curse to beat him. In the end, Captains Curse held the trophy for the win.
