World Finals Speedster Competitors

Authored by Larry Jewett on April 15, 2019

Monster Jam World Finals® XX will offer more chances to claim a World Championship than ever before with seven championships to be decided.

New elements of competition for 2019 will include Speedster Obstacle Course and Speedster Racing. The competitions will be held during the Pit Party on Friday and Saturday. The points accrued in the two days of competition will determine the champions. Entry into the Pit Party is included with an event ticket.

Eight athletes from the Triple Threat SeriesTM championships have been selected to compete in the inaugural Speedster competitions.

Three athletes will represent Triple Threat Series East. Armando Castro (El Toro Loco®), Blake Granger (Max-DTM) and Bernard Lyght (Alien InvasionTM). Colton Eichelberger (Max-D), who won nearly 50 percent of his races in 2019, will be joined by Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger®) to represent Triple Threat Series West. Brandon Vinson (Grave Digger) and Mark List (El Toro Loco) will represent Triple Threat Series Central.

Speedster Obstacle Course and Speedster Racing offer close quarters action in single-elimination rounds to determine an eventual winner. The light weight, high powered vehicles can make tight turns at the end of high speed straightaways as a key to victory.

Menninga and Vinson will also be competing in Racing and Freestyle competitions in Monster Jam World Finals XX.

Monster Jam World Finals XX will be held May 10-11 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.
