Weekend Recap: Fourth Champion Crowned as Monster Jam World Finals Draws Closer

Stadium Championship Series Red – Adam Anderson (Grave Digger) clinched the series title after taking the overall event championship on Saturday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Camden Murphy (Bakugan Dragonoid) won Racing, with Anderson then winning Skills and Freestyle. The series now heads to East Rutherford, NJ, for an event May 13.

 

 

Stadium Championship Series Blue – The only series championship not yet decided tightened up a bit last weekend as Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger) took the overall event championship at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT. Anderson won Skills and Freestyle while Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) took the Racing win. Anderson still sits 42 points back of points leader Menninga as the series heads to Denver, CO, for an event May 13.

 

 

Arena Championship Series East – Three different Monster Jam drivers, including Weston Anderson (Grave Digger), the Arena Championship Series East Champion, took home overall event championships in four events last weekend at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes Barre, PA. Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) won Friday and Saturday night, while Anderson won Saturday afternoon and Dalton Widner (Jurassic Attack) won Sunday afternoon. The Series now heads to Manchester, NH, for three events May 13–14.

 

Arena Championship Series Central - This series has concluded, with Brandon Vinson (Grave Digger) crowned the series champion.

 

Arena Championship Series West – Six Monster Jam drivers headed out to Vibrant Arena in Moline, IL, for two events last weekend, where Elvis Lainez (El Toro Loco) and Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) claimed the overall event championships. Tristan England (Earth Shaker) has already clinched the series championship, and will be back in action for the final points event of the season this weekend in Pensacola, FL, May 13–14.

 

International Series – The third of three Monster Jam stops in South Africa took place last weekend at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Arena Championship Series West Champion Tristan England (Blue Thunder) won Racing, while Myranda Cozad (Monster Mutt Dalmatian) claimed her first ever Skills win and Charlie Pauken (Megalodon) won Freestyle. However, Blake Granger (Max-D) proved the most consistent and took home the overall event championship.
