Syracuse – Fresh from his 2017 Racing World Championship at Monster Jam World Finals® XVIII, Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger®) dominated the competition at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. Anderson’s three racing passes were the fastest of the weekend as he eliminated Todd LeDuc (Monster Energy®), Adam Anderson (Grave Digger®) and Linsey Weenk (Lucas Oil CrusaderTM) to claim his second career Syracuse racing title. Inspired by the racing win, Anderson put up a near perfect 9.900 Freestyle score to claim his second Double Down win of the year.
Baton Rouge – Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) picked up two event championships to lead Triple Threat Series East competitors. Jared Eichelberger (Max-DTM) and Kayla Blood (El Toro Loco®) captured the remaining titles. Grave Digger and Max-D scored two Freestyle championships each.
Chattanooga – A pair of Saturday events at McKenzie Arena marked Monster Jam’s return to Chattanooga. In his first visit since 2011, Pablo Huffaker (Grave Digger) took control to claim both event championships. Freestyle was dominated by 2017 Double Down Showdown competitor Zane Rettew (Stinger), who won both competitions.
Cincinnati – J.R. Seasock (Monster Mutt® Rottweiler) took his first event championship of 2017 with the Saturday night victory. Justin Sipes (MegalodonTM) and Camden Murphy (Pirate’s CurseTM) scored at the top of the remaining shows. Freestyle competition was a true indication of parity with three winners in three shows – Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger), Matt Cody (Blue Thunder®) and Ami Houde (ZombieTM).
Huntsville – Gary Porter (Carolina Crusher®) claimed two event championships with Randy Brown (Grave Digger) and Dale Benear (Hotsy) also in the winner’s circle. Brown took two Freestyle wins with Porter and Shane England (Big Kahuna) getting one each.
Roanoke – Charlie Pauken made a triumphant return to arena competition, sweeping three event championships in Roanoke. The reigning Stadium Tour 4 champion swept 10 of the 12 competitions. Jon Zimmer (DragonTM) won two Racing events.
Vancouver – Monster Jam’s first appearance at the Pacific National Exhibition brought the best of Triple Threat Series West. Colton Eichelberger (Max-D) swept the event championships while Mark List (El Toro Loco) picked up an important Freestyle win.
Monster Jam returns to arena action April 21-23 in Uniondale, New York: Lincoln, Nebraska, Columbus, Ohio; Austin, Texas and Hamilton, Ontario. The third visit to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California will happen Saturday, April 22.
